Background
Overview of DTR Corporation, Inc. Product Testing and Manufacturing Capability
The parent company of DTR Corporation, Inc. is Dong Ah Tire & Rubber Company which was established in 1971 and they are experts in rubber compounding and rubber molding. The parent company produces inner tubes for various tires, along with batteries and other automotive components. This division is also a major supplier to Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, Michigan of transmission and engine mounts along with various suspension components. In 1998, at the request of KEPCO, the largest electric utility company in Korea, Dong Ah Tire and Rubber Company formed a division, DTR Corporation, to manufacture Hi-Voltage polymer insulators for use by the utility and Korean railroad. The company recruited 6 electrical engineers each with over 10 years of experience designing and developing Hi-Voltage Insulators, to design insulators, surge arrestors, cutouts and other products used by the electric utility companies. Today, they employ over 40 people in engineering, manufacturing and management to operate DTR Corporation.

PRODUCT Support
ARP insulators are manufactured at the DTR Corporation, Inc. factory located in Busan, South Korea. Each insulator manufactured is 100% tested to meet and exceed all ANSI standards. Any product found with defects related to material or workmanship prior to installation will be replaced at no charge.
The insulators are shipped in full container loads and inventoried at ARP’s factory in Wyoming, New York for distribution throughout North, Central and South America. Each shipment is sent with a complete set of documents titled Inspection Specification & Report, certifying that the insulators contained in that shipment were manufactured to ARP’s drawings and meet all industry specifications, including ANSI, IEC and CEA standards.
